Tigers at Twins preview: Tigers have to put a bad loss behind them.
The team needs to clean up their defense, but they can?t dwell on a last night?s ninth inning debacle either.

Detroit Tigers' Michael Pineda shares No. 1 priority vs. former team, the Twins.

Team just can't hit sadly.. organization is filled with poorly developed hitters.

Having a hard time getting excited watching this product, going to bed early while the sun is still up is far more exciting

One ****n hit through 6 innings, its a shame the tigers are going up against nolan ryan every night.

Not much excitement being generated by the Tigers. It should be Al?s last year as a GM if they don?t have a winning record this year.

Glad Robbie is having fun on 2nd base smiling and laughing it up with opposing players as they are about to lose their 4th in a row and again the Tigers have lost yet another series to fall to 6-11 on the season.

This is getting real bad. I know it?s to early to panic but I?m panicking. This get over the hump seasons looks to be going way off Course.

Twins 5 - Tigers 0: Tigers bats go silent again.
Joe Ryan dominated the Tigers hitters while Kepler?s two home runs kept him tormenting Tigers pitchers.

All those people that think AJ was the reason for the team "overachieving" last year better be putting the blame on him for the clown show out there right now.

I Agree but other then a few guys that the tigers got at the top of the draft who have they really developed hitting wise under Al ? Am I missing something ?

He has been the GM for 6 drafts. Only about 17% of players drafted make it to the major league level. It typically takes 3-5 years from the time a player is drafted to reach the major league level.

I agree that it seems like he has not had much success, but turning around a baseball franchise is not like basketball or even football. It takes a LOT of time.
