The reason for being removed from the game.
Nick Castellanos got hit in right hand Saturday night. X-rays negative. Should be in the lineup Tuesday or Wednesday.

It's official: Tigers recall Omar Infante, option Hernan Perez to Triple-A Toledo.

The Tigers also promoted catcher John Murrian from Single-A Lakeland to Toledo. He will likely serve as a backup behind Paulino and veteran catcher Brad Davis.

For now, catching prospects Ramon Cabrera and James McCann will both remain in Double-A Erie.

Toledo Mud Hens pre game blog from John Wagner at the Toledo Blade.
He is a good follow.

PRE-GAME NOTES.
First, an update on OF Nick Castellanos, who has not played since he was hit on the right forearm by a pitch from Indianapolis RHP Jameson Taillon Saturday. Castellanos is not in the lineup tonight; he was taking balls in the outfield but did not take batting practice before the game. Mud Hens manager Phil Nevin said that, barring a setback, he expected Castellanos to return to the lineup Wednesday.
