Simulating Cabrera.
Miguel Cabrera went 0 for 3 with two walks on Wednesday and did not record an RBI as the Tigers fell to the Royals 3-2 in ten innings. The Tigers have scored just seven runs in their last three games.
The latest run of 10,000 simulations of the rest of Cabrera?s season produced an average of 153.8 RBI for the season. The minimum came in at 108 RBI, the maximum at 200 RBI. Ninety five percent of the observations fell between 134 and 176 RBI. That implies a chance of breaking the AL RBI record (184) of 0.2%, and of breaking the MLB RBI record (191) of 0.014%. Those are the lowest numbers since the simulations started on May 20th.
