Detroit Tigers Team Notes Over 3 Million Views!!! Thankyou!

I disagree total with that article Byco except the part about leaving max in.. The 4 pitchers used were in a very incorrect order in my opinion and Jim even said a few days ago he prefers to have clean bases for JB.. I much prefer leaving in Smyly to stay in there. He is the only lefty it appears Jim is going to use. He needs to be saved for Ortiz.
He does not give up the long ball and he could have gotten Victorino just as easy as AA did. Then he still is in there for Ortiz and AA still is in the pen and JB is coming out in the ninth.. Smyly has pitched in NY in the playoffs... Let the pitchers pitch to more the one batter..
God 108 pitches... 2005 Ozzie Guillen is laughing at Jim... Let the dam starters finish a game!!!!!

I would have given major props to Jim if he had just decided to pitch around Ortiz.. See if he chases and move on to the next batter Napoli who is right anyway... You cannot let Ortiz beat you.. Damn it all.

Lance Parrish will throw out ceremonial first pitch before Game 3 tomorrow. Lou Whitaker and Jack Morris are on deck for Games 4-5.

I wish J.L. would have allowed Vera's to pitch to Elsberry. You don't waste Smyly on one batter when Ortiz is coming up.

Guys, please put all the disagreements and thoughts on some of the post game stories into the game threads. Thankyou.

?I?m not too much worried about the strikeouts,? Jackson said. ?I?m not really worried about anything right now, other than winning.?

Hunter is batting .138 (4-for-29) with nine strikeouts and no RBIs.

The leadoff and # 2 batters are a combined 7 for 59 with 25 strikeouts!!
