Detroit Tigers Team Notes

I have been laid off ...off and on... for the last two years. I have a real good lead on a good job but I'm still at home for now. Wife works...I cook.
I t is great to have friends and family these days. Friends like my "baseball pastor". He's the guy who knows more about baseball than me so I LISTEN.
My baseball pastor gave me a call last night right when I needed it. I had cooked a great meal for the family knowing that I was going into the zone once the game started. That's called politics....I do for you guys....you leave me alone later. So those big ol kids of mine were not cooperating setting the tabe etc. I about went into my "housewife rant" of "I slave around here cooking you a good meal and you cant even get some plates?"
So instead I did the "manly thing" and went to my room to calm down. Who should call just then but that baseball pastor! Just talking with him I realized how serious it was for me to impress on the fam that "Hey, this is the ALCS and y'all are gonna co-operate here....and right now!!!!!" Hats off to the BP for firing me up once again!( thing is the kids are usually great and I actually like to cook....and no I have not grown a uterus) lol
