Tigers Sign Jordan Zimmermann to 5-year Deal.

Zimmermann will earn $18 million each of the first two years of the deal, and then receive an increase to $24 million in 2018, and $25 million in each of 2019 and 2020. Zimmermann will also have a full no-trade clause the first three years of the deal, and a limited no-trade clause in the final two years.

Because the Tigers finished with a record among the ten worst in baseball, they will not lose their first round pick, but will instead lose their second round pick to the Nationals as free agent compensation, the 38th overall selection.
