Tigers control their own playoff destiny after Blue Jays loss.
bybtb

The Detroit Tigers have clinched second place in the American League Central.
The Tigers now control their playoff fate. If they win their final two games in Atlanta and Monday's make-up game against Cleveland, the worst they can do is force a one-game tiebreaker for a Wild Card spot.

MIGGY REACHES MILESTONES.
Miguel Cabrera reached a few milestones after homering twice against the Braves on Friday, according to ESPN Stats & Info.

Friday was Cabrera's sixth multi-home run game this season, the most in his career (he had five in the previous two seasons).

With his second homer, Cabrera reached 446 career home runs, passing Adrian Beltre for 40th on the all-time list.

Cabrera's home run total with Detroit is now 308, which passes Hank Greenberg for the third-most in franchise history.
