Started about 7:15 after a ST game, with Larry Bowa in the studio,
harold reynolds interviews Prince, JV,
then talks about the rest of the staff with Bowa...starters Fister, Scherzer, and Porcello, and relievers Valverde, Benoit, Coke, and Dotel. Bowa then talks up Balester, Schlereth.
harold interviews Valverde,

they talk up the Lineup, and about getting players on base for the Big Guys, talk about Jackson's new batting stance, Boesch at the 2 spot in front of Cabrera and Prince, Middle of the order is a Force, Bowa says both will hit 30 - 40 Bombs, Young will get pitches to hit, Avila, Peralta, Bowa talks up the lineup top to bottom with interchangeable parts, Kelly, Santiago, Raburn. Lots of versatility.

harold interviews Raburn, seems like a good guy modest and humble,

Valverde shows off a new Victory dance, says when he started his dance, practices his fastball, splitter, and dance,

They talk about the farm system, Turner, Castellanos, Smyly, Oliver, with projections (they like Smyly a little more for now), and list Bruce Rondon, Fields, and Avi Garcia, per Jonathan Mayo.

harold interviews Avila, about convervsion to catching, learning the position,

Then they interview DD and Leyland,
Bowa loves Leyland, and DD talks about the signing of Prince and the how and why, and talking to Cabrera about playing third which Cabrera has wanted to do since 2010, Bowa asks about Turner, Smyly, and Oliver and how they rank as ml ready, lastly about the top of the lineup with Jackson at leadoff, changing the stance, and a 2 strike approach, gulp,

harold interviews Leyland, 49 years in baseball, talks about Cabrera to third, Prince at first,
old school lineup with Power at the corners infield and outfield,

The commercial with JV and the model Kate Upton is shown a few times,

Harold asks some questions, best dressed, best hair, etc.

Baseball Prospectus projects an 85 win season, Bowa, "are you kidding me"?

Bowa scouting report on the Rotation, Bullpen, Lineup, Defense.
and Win Predictions from harold/Bowa, built to win for a few years.

Watching this, has to get you so excited for the season to start...

Detroit Tigers' Doug Fister scratched from Wednesday's start, set to pitch next Sunday.
from Mlive

?I?ve dealt with it before and it was nothing,? Fister said. ?I didn?t miss any time last year with it and just pitched through it.
Fister said he initially injured it in a start last June when he pitched for the Seattle Mariners.
The pain in his finger has subsided, but Fister acknowledged that bending it triggers a sharp pain. The current treatment is rest, ice and laser therapy.
