...to reduce weight? Just saw him sit down on the sidelines and he looks the same.

Not all operations have a good chance of success...this surgery was an uphill battle for the surgeons.

Florida is just cruising in the 1st quarter against Kentucky.

he had an operation a few years ago - he at first lost weight like 90 lbs but then had a complicatoink, ended up in a coma and even had last rites given

then gained weight back

He may have had Lap Band surgery, but really the only way to reduce weight and stay healthy is to increase your exercise and reduce your caleroic intake.

he also lost his lawsuit as he had hte operation very quickly without the prep processes normally recommended

someone i see at meetings had surgery 2 years ago and she still looks like she is dropping more - looks great but i don't think i would do surgery

I have known several people that have had the surgery and it only works if you make drastic life changes. If after the surgery you still eat the same crap and dont exercise you will be in the same boat only in some cases worse. It has killed people who were not able to or refused to make the change.

Yep, the equation is pretty simple: increase energy output and reduce energy input and you will lose weight. I think the problem is that with humans there is the psychological factors that come into the equation that are complicating. I should lose 30-40 lbs, and have tried several times over the past few years. Trying again now. But it is not easy with stress at work, home, etc. And my wife is such a great cook!
