Do not want Hoke fired

I say fire everyone, but Fred Jackson. He is the wellspring from which Michigan flows.

Yeah, because the rb's are looking good...no. Let's face it. Jackson talks a good game about how great his stable is every year, but it's been quite a while since we've had a rb that actually delivers.

I don't think they need to fire everyone, but I have Jackson on my list with Borges and Funk.

Hire a QB coach

Publicly acknowledge that Hoke is just a figure-head and does nothing but act as a cheerleader on saturdays or when they're losing, a guy who is going to stand around with his arms crossed and look mad and that everything runs through the OC and DC...except maybe the occasional decision on whether to go for it on 4th down.

It's too soon to fire Hoke.

It was pretty infrequent, but there were a couple or so seasons back in the Bo days where the record was comparatively as crappy as the record is gonna be this season.

The two or so seasons before the '97 co nationalship weren't this crappy, but they were pretty crappy.

The coaching staff definitely needs an overhaul.

Now, if next season is just as crappy, or not a whole helluvalot better - then I'd say, start to see who might be available.

Is there anybody great available now?

On player development:

Jerrod Wilson, Blake Countess, Raymon Taylor, James Ross, Quentin Washington, Jibreel Black, Jeremy Gallon (yikes remember him in 2010?), Drew Dileo, Devin Funchess

Hoke hasn't been perfect, but I'm pretty pleased with the development/growth of the players in that list.

Hoke and his staff has to win 10 games next year and challenge for the division or that is it.

This is Michigan football... About time we found the best..

I see on rivals and 247 that Thomas and Morris are 4s

OK, the point isn't whether they have a 4th or 5th star. All 3 were very highly recruited. I don't think there is any refuting that. Look at all the schools that offered them. They are true freshmen. What I am saying, is that to use them in the manner that they have been used this season was a complete and total waste of a year of eligibility. If you're going to burn their redshirt (waste a year), then use them regularly.

Do you think that this team has any realistic chance to challenge for the big 10 title next season? I'm not seeing it.

I think youd be surprised by how much better the team would look if the Oline was decent.

losing Lewan is going to be difficult. the oline might be even younger next season. which is not good.

why do we not go get some transfers?

MSU went 7-6 last year (3-5 in the B1G) with losses to ohio st, Michigan, Iowa, Nebraska, Northwestern and Notre dame. They're headed for the B1G championship this year. If they can do it, so can Michigan. Similar issue in EL for the Spartans. Stout defense with a terrible offense. They figured out how to not be terrible on offense this year. That's all Brady hoke has to do for next year.

Hoke needs to stop being "Michigan's coach" and starting "coaching Michigan". By that I mean he needs to stop being the puppet that spouts out "fergodsakes" and 'Ohio' and all the other things the alumni and fans loved to hear. He gets the rivalries. He gets the history. He's ahead of RichRod on those points. Now its time to start coaching. Develop players. Get more involved during games. Put on a damned headset. I get that he's a defense guy, but I can't stand that it seems he's giving Borges autonomy to run the offense. I wasn't crazy about the hire at the time but Hoke said all of the right things. I will admit he had me at fergodsakes. His recruiting appears to be tremendous. He has talked to talk since he got here. Now its time to walk the walk. The honeymoon is over.

There is always someone available...always.

We have this little thing called realignment next season. MIchigan, OSU, MSU, and PSU will all be in the same division. MIchigan has to finish in first place in the division in order to qualify for the championship game.

MSU had a super D last season and returned everyone except for 2 people. Is Michigan doing that? No.

Hey! It's possible. All I am asking is if you see it happening.
