Do you have a 2007 Appalachian State horror story?

I've already decided not to watch the first few minutes of Saturday's broadcast, because you know how it's going to open.

We used to bet on how long it would take the broadcast crew to explain why Denard was called 'Shoelace'

It usually happened on the first M offensive drive of the game and within the first couple plays or first big play by him. "They call him Shoelace because he doesn't tie his shoes...!"


That all started after broadcasters repetition that Mike Martin "actually was a wrestler in high school!"

So retarded.
