I really hope they go OL but am terrified that they'll go way out in left field with the pick. Please management, not another "Upside" or "High Ceiling" pick. :-(

We're already gambling, so I'm pushing all in and saying we grab Margus Hunt in the 2nd. Hunter in the 3rd. OL, DB, LBs with the remaining picks.

Something like this...

Your Picks:
Round 1 Pick 5: Ezekiel Ansah, DE, Brigham Young (A)
Round 2 Pick 4: Margus Hunt, DE, Southern Methodist (B)
Round 3 Pick 3: Justin Hunter, WR, Tennessee (A)
Round 4 Pick 35 (COMP): Zaviar Gooden, OLB, Missouri (A)
Round 5 Pick 4: Khaled Holmes, C, Southern California (A)
Round 6 Pick 3: Chris Faulk, OT, LSU (A)
Round 7 Pick 5: Micah Hyde, CB, Iowa (A)
Round 7 Pick 39 (COMP): Kahlid Wooten, CB, Nevada (A)

or

Your Picks:
Round 1 Pick 5: Ezekiel Ansah, DE, Brigham Young (A)
Round 2 Pick 4: Margus Hunt, DE, Southern Methodist (B)
Round 3 Pick 3: Justin Hunter, WR, Tennessee (A)
Round 4 Pick 35 (COMP): Hugh Thornton, OG, Illinois (A-)
Round 5 Pick 4: Zaviar Gooden, OLB, Missouri (A)

Trade down in the second
2nd terron
3rd Poyer
4th stills
2nd 4th from trade shwenke
5th devin Taylor
6th ace sanders
7th stoneburner

Yeah!!

Good spot to trade down. Okafor, hunt, moore, taylor, alford, amerson, banks, hunter, warford, watson all on the board.

after looking at it...might be hard to find a good trade partner unless all we gain is a 3rd. Only team with multiple picks in rd 2 is NE and i dont see them moving up after they move down....all that does is lose value. I never understood it but something like that ESPN would be all over bellichecks nuts for....the end result when you move down then trade back up is...the same amount of picks....but lower. AKA all you did was lost yourself value lol.

Trade with the Jets. Heard they want to trade up and grab a QB.

Hearing that the jets are looking to trade up for geno, guess they realized snatchez is trash. Wonder what they would give up to move near the front of rd 2?

If they take TE'O now just because he's still there and supposed best player crap I'm going to have a freaking cow

The good: alot of people we need still on the board and we gain a pick.
The bad: Mayhew seriously thinks this 4 win team has no holes...which is why hes the 2nd worst GM in the league (infront of the raiders).

Lions moving down?
April, 26, 2013
Apr 262:35PM ETBy Tim Kavanagh | ESPN.com Recommend0Comments0EmailPrintThe Detroit Lions filled their DE need in Round 1 on Thursday night, selecting Ezekiel Ansah with the No. 5 overall pick. And with no other glaring needs on the roster -- if you believe the public stance being taken by GM Martin Mayhew and others -- it makes sense for them to see what the No. 36 overall pick can draw in terms of trade offers in this afternoon's continuation of the festivities.

In fact, Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports has word that the Lions are "actively shopping" the pick. With all but one QB still on the board -- and a number of teams looking to acquire a passer behind them -- it would seem that Detroit shouldn't have too much trouble finding a trade partner; of course, they will have to come to mutually agreeable terms, and that may take some negotiating.

If the Lions fail to reach such an accord, it's possible we'll see them target one of the top remaining OTs on the board -- Menelik Watson or Terron Armstead -- or snag themselves another WR, with players like Justin Hunter, Keenan Allen and Robert Woods waiting to be chosen.

If they don't see a need to stay put why would other teams want their pick?

dont know why SF would trade down when they already cant sign all of their picks as is....just grab a guy for god sakes lol.

That 3rd for next year is huge. They moved down and got a 7th this year, won't do a thing for the cap this season.

hmmm...jets may trade up to us for geno? if not i think we should go banks or damontre moore.
