Draft Thread 2020

With all the new mocks predicting the Lions trade down, I really hope they avoid Jordan Love in the event they pick up multiple 1st round picks (MIA). To me, he is the boom or bust pick that everyone become enamored with pre-draft. I watched him play my beloved Air Force Falcons this season and didn't see the decision making of a 1st round draft pick. Can't remember exactly, but I think he ended up with around a 100 yards passing. Measurables are there for sure, just think he needs to mature and develop beyond a timeline the Lions can afford with so many other pressing needs.

This would be the most Lions thing to do. You target a 1st rd QB....you have one of the best staring you in the face at 3. And you trade out of that spot to pick a shittier one lmao. It would be the nail in the coffin for Quin and rightfully so....cause itd be plain dumb.

Detroit Lions Breakdown Podcast Episode #140: Special Guest Scott Bischoff. 60 minutes.
In this week?s episode, Joe Kania gets the week off as Erik Schlitt welcome in special guest Scott Bischoff.

Schlitt and Bischoff talk for nearly an hour about what the Lions could do with the No. 3 pick in the NFL draft. They breakdown seven prospects that should be considered by the Lions in the first round of the draft, what a potential trade back could look like, and if the team would consider Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa.

The other seven names discussed were:

Jeffrey Okudah, CB, Ohio State.
Derrick Brown, DT, Auburn.
Javon Kinlaw, DT, South Carolina.
Jerry Jeudy, WR Alabama.
A.J. Epenesa, EDGE Iowa.
Chase Young, EDGE Ohio State.
Isaiah Simmons, S/LB Clemson.
