Playmaker Score 2020.
Football Outsiders

The 2020 NFL draft's wide receiver class has been widely hailed as perhaps the best in over a decade. Playmaker Score, which is Football Outsiders' statistical system for projecting college wide receivers to the next level, agrees that there are several promising prospects in this year's class. However, Playmaker Score is only lukewarm about much of the depth available at the top of the draft. While the very top prospects look to be quite excellent, many of the receivers slated to go in the second half of the first round are not any stronger than the first-round wide receivers of drafts past.

Playmaker Score is based on a statistical analysis of all of the Division I wide receivers drafted in the years from 1996 to 2017, and measures the following:

The wide receiver's projected draft position. These projections use the draft projections from Draft Scout.
The prospect's best or "peak" season for receiving yards per team attempt (i.e., a wide receiver with 1,000 receiving yards whose team passed 400 times would score a "2.50").
The wide receiver's peak season for receiving touchdowns per team attempt.
The difference between the prospect's peak season for receiving touchdowns per team attempt and the prospect's most recent season for receiving touchdowns per team attempt (this factor is simply "0" for a player whose peak season was his most recent season).
A variable that rewards players who enter the draft as underclassmen and punishes those who exhaust their college eligibility.
The wide receiver's rushing attempts per game during their peak season for receiving yards per team attempt.
A factor that gives a bonus to wideouts who played on the same team in college as other receivers who are projected to be drafted.

Quinn just said that the defense was there focus on free agency and upgraded at every level. He is either trying to throw the scent off or he's making an excuse why he picks offense.

Yeah its the week they throw the most smoke. Drum up trade interest for pick 3.

It's true they did upgrade at every level but still more work to do at CB and pass rush.

I was going with why he takes a offensive skill player.

If im being my positive self i MIGHT be able to see an upgrade on the dline. But thats only cause Snacks bascically admitted he gave up on this team. If snacks wanted to be here hes the better player and its an obvious downgrade.

LB has not been upgraded. Even if Ragland end up starting at one of the MLB spots all he did was replace Tavaii....which means your #2 pick from a year ago sees the field less....great job?! Collins is the same player as Kennard...no upgrade there.

So that bring me to secondary which has potentially the best argument. Is Trufant and Harmon and upgrade over Slay and Wilson? For the money id have to say it was the right move to do. I cant ever get to a point where id say were better off with the new group. But....again if im being optimistic id say it could be just as good as last years group and costs less money.

Collins is clearly better than Kennard. Better pass rush win rate, better run D, better coverage. Allows Davis more Will or more blitzing.

Harmon and Walker is a better combo than Walker/Diggs or Walker/Wilson/Harris. Harmon can ball at free safety and knows the scheme well and buys into the scheme unlike Diggs.

Dline improved. Hand along improves it. Flowers no slow start due to shoulder. Add one more DE on day 2 and dominate. Shelton, Hand, Williams can get it done at DT. Flowers moves to DT some too. Austin Bryant a wild card as well.
