Draft Thread 2020

Love the guy. Don't love it with the glaring needs at DE, rush OLB and OG.

I hope Swift is a pro bowl RB for us. Just don't see the need with KJ and Bo.
 
This is such a stupid pick. We have multiple adequate RBs. Literally every metric says that the o-line (not the rb) determines how good your running game is. We just passed up an easy starter on defense for a player that isn't going to move the needle.
 
He might be really good but there are some good DE's out there that could really help the shitty D.

i love Swift the player. We have the WORST defense in the league...the absolute worst front 7 in the league. And you pick a rb at the top of rd 2 that will split carries with Kerryon. Brilliant. At the best...he takes all the carries and we just turned Kerryon into a bust/wasted pick.
 
Well hopefully we sign Clowney...worst pass defense in the league is going to be worse next year as of right now.
 
This is what "win-now" looks like. A really stupid attempt to fix a pot-hole with a band aid. Who is blocking for this new runner? Oh right, an overpaid backup tackle and someone who couldn't beat out the guy we let walk. Swift's whole deal is that he's a good pass catcher, but we could have just taken a WR who actually specializes in catching the ball.

Swift was a steal at 35 and is a instant steroid injection to a offense that needed a playmaker.

If we are assuming KJ is going to get hurt, why not trade him for whatever you can get? Let Swift and Bo run the ball. I don't think we need a 3 headed RB committee.

The RB doesn't matter. Swift isn't going to be a superstar behind our line. This had been shown again and again, but Quinn keeps hoping RBs will fix poor line play and bad play calls. Swift might be a great runner, it just won't matter. This isn't an indictment of Swift, it's an indictment of Quinn's perpetually behind the curve team building.

The problem or problems are that we've drafted RB after RB before at this position. Its a passing league and lastly and more important the defense is shit.
