dread sux lose 10th straight, brawl with raze....

"Rays pinch-hitter Sean Rodriguez connected for a tiebreaking, three-run homer in the seventh. Later in the inning, Yunel Escobar hit a two-run double and then took third on defensive indifference, setting off the fracas."

"There were some words exchanged," Red Sox manager John Farrell said. "We're down five in the seventh, so it's somewhat a gray area when you shut down the running game."

Yeah, b/c the dread sux never do anything like that, or run up the score, or purposely drag out ABs, or take time between pitches on the mound, to extend regulation games to 4 hours or more.

Why does bahston seem to attract the most and biggest douches to play for them in MLB?

As much as I am unhappy about the Tigers 1-6 record, post dread sux sweep, their 10-game losing streak warms the cockles of my heart. Can't think of a more despicable ballclub and its detestable pink-hatter fans winning a WS for the 3rd time in the past 10 years. At least I got to enjoy watching them pratfall and choke on their chicken in the stretch-run of Sept '11 and cellar-dwell in '12.

I think 5 runs is well within the realm of still running the bases..Especially in the 7th. And the sux scored two later..

Yeah, 5 runs with a couple innings left to play isn't "game over". I'm sure a 5 run lead is blown every week in MLB. Hell, Boston blew a 5 run lead the night before themselves.
