Drevno to coach from sideline again

not sure why it took this long to decide to go back to the way things were when they worked better.

if I'm a coach, the only guys I want in the booth are low level analyst types; bean counters who can see what the opponent is doing and phone down suggested fixes to the sideline. the coaches that work with the players in practice all week should be on the field to motivate and discipline.

I feel like you need some top X's and O's guys well above the field to see the whole field to make adjustments. Are coaches allowed to have video screens? It seems like best of both worlds would be to have assistants following them around with an Ipad sized screen so they can have the option to see whatever they they want. Maybe a dedicated system so they can pinch-zoom the video and see any part of the field.

sounds like information overload. only so much the human mind can process in 35 seconds, and football coaches aren't typically the sharpest knives in the drawer.
 
I thought that last year it was Jay Harbaugh or Fisch up in the booth
