The Cubs have agreed to sign Edwin Jackson to a four-year, $52MM contract, Patrick Mooney of CSNChicago.com reports.
The Cubs will be the eighth team in 11 years for the 29-year-old Jackson, who also pitched for the White Sox. He is 70-71 lifetime with a 4.40 ERA. He was 10-11 with a 4.03 ERA for Washington last season.

The deal does not include a no-trade clause, Jon Heyman of CBSSports.com report.
So we will see if the former Dodger/Devil Ray/Tiger/White Sox/Diamondback/Cardinal/National can stick with the Cubs for more than a season or two before he gets traded. At least Edwin was fortunate enough to land with the Cards during their '11 World Series championship season, and has a ring to show for all of his bouncing around in both leagues.
