Elder Scrolls V : Skyrim

I like to sneak into Wilheim, I have to sneak because I'm a wanted man, and slice a guard up and right away they add a $1000 bounty. Lol. Its really high there now. I still have quests there so its fun.

I have a save in Solace where the entire town is dead other than the couple/few people you can't kill and some of the guards that respawn.

That fight was ridiculous. I got up on top of the walls opposite where that dude gets beheaded the 1st time you go there and just sneak sniped people with the bow till they found me, then I was shield bashing people off the walls and they'd fall to their death. Was like at least 30+ against me and Lydia. She died in the battle and my bounty is well over 50,000 on that save.

First couple tries on it I was getting overwhelmed once they found me. I'd have like 5-10 of them on each side coming at me, plus guys hitting me with arrows. Died several times. Once I figured out I could Shield Bash them off the walls and kill them, I was saving it mid-battle every few minutes.

Only annoying thing is the guys you can't kill. Eventually the guards die... if you use poison or Fire Spells they take DOT which helps a ton too, then using Flame Armor so they take damage every time they hit you is big. But those guys that can't die are really annoying. Especially if they box you in, and when ur fighting that many people it's really easy to have that happen.

I found a sword the other day that has health draining on it that aboslutley is not fair cuz I heal more damage with that sword than I take... Especially with Dragon Armor on mitigating almost everything. I may go back to Solace and see how much faster I can mow them down. I fought a Blood Dragon and a Regular Dragon 2v1 the other day with that sword and never went below half health. Did have to recharge it mid fight, though.

Pretty much made up my mind tho that next time through I'm gonna go pure rogue class. I played a Feral Druid in WoW and I miss sneaking around backstabbing people.

im trying to figure out the best 1h weapon to use. right now ive got a legendary elvish mace until i can get enough ebon ingots to make a legendary ebon mace, but i dunno if theres anything better.

I prefer swords if for no other reason than the decapitation chance. Been using a Legendary Ebony Sword for awhile

maces have the decapitation chance too. i actually get a decent number of decapitations lol

I have a Daedra Sword too which has a higher base damage, so I assume once upgraded will also be higher... but it's such a pain to find all the stuff you need to upgrade those. Needs like Daedra hearts, and crap.... probaly not worth the extra 4 damage or whatever it ends up being...

I think Axes do the most damage, but they are slowest, Maces are 2nd with mid-speed, and swords are lowest damage but they swing the fastest.

Went into Solace last night and completely wiped out the entire town, and the nearby farm, the stable, the inn outside the walls, the guy that sits on the cart, then the dock area...

With the Health Draining Sword, it was like they weren't even damaging me. lol

My Bounty was at 67k when I started having problems finding people to kill.

Was getting chased the whole time by General Tullius, and the 2 Legate's and some other random naked guy with a bow. Can't kill those 4, so they just chase you forever. When I couldn't find anybody else to kill, I sheathed my weapon and they tried to arrest me. 67k and change on the bounty. lol

Innocents you kill, damn man :).

got my copy for xmas! lvl 5 one handed warrior that casts magic with his offhand lol...couldnt decide if i wanted to be a mage or warrior first so i deceided on both. Came across a bunch of glitches so far. My biggest complaint is taking on a job...running all the way there....which takes forever when my stamina is so low....then realizing the targets are like way too high a lvl to kill. Other than that so far so good!

The other question i had is i have like 4 credits to spend in the skills screen with all the constellations but it doesnt let me pick anything...any ideas on what im doin wrong?

Most have prerequistes. You can't just pick a 100 skill before you get the earlier ones. And even if the prerequiste is filled, the level of your skill needs to be at that level. If that made sense.

ya its not even letting me pick the lower ones and it seems my skill lvl is sufficient. some you need to be lvl 20 and im lvl 26 for example. I dunno...maybe im not high enough lvl or something.

Could try to log out and back in if you havent. Otherwise, I have no idea.

Killed my first dragon last night at lvl 6....very exciting! Fight was pretty short compared to the dragon age dragon fights.

The title in that game had dragons in it, lol. Of course it'd have longer fights.

:)

Not really a whole lot of tactics needed in the dragon fights. In Dragon Age you had to position either yourself if you played the Tank or if you used Allistair as the tank in a spot so the dragon flame wouldn't hit your other people... then keep the ranged away from there and have them "Hold position" or whatever... Not the case in Skyrim... just beat on it till it dies... heal when you have to. Pretty mindless.

Mitch, I murdered everybody! Not in my normal save, but I have a save where I just wander the land killing everybody. I walked into a farm house late at night - must've had the key from murdering somebody in town... the chick in there got "You're not supposed to..." and then "Ughghghhh" as my sword ripped into her chest cavity

The inn was the best though... I open the door, run in full speed and get a decapitation animation immediately from this guy standing there against a beam. Then the waitress is like "Better him than me..."

lvl 10 and killed my 2nd dragon! let lydia take hate then beat on its ass with a club when it lands, heal her, rinse, repeat. *yawn*

How much shit can she carry anyways? lol unlimited???

Never used Lydia or the new guy once I moved to Markrath (sp). Do they actually help?
