Election Aftermath

Sounds like consenting adults to me.

I expect that?s accurate; by all accounts they were happy together. They had five children and Frances was buried next to her husband when she died in 1947.

Frances Folsom had been Cleveland?s legal ward from age 11. He knew her from birth. When Frances?s father died, those associated with Cleveland figured he?d marry the widow, because they were constantly in each other?s company.

Instead, he waited for Frances to turn 21. He kept their nuptial plans secret until a few days before the wedding and there was considerable surprise over the announcement.

Trump is planning to run again in 2024. I?d rather it be desantis. It may not really matter though 2024 is still 3 years away, I don?t think the country will make that long Biden has already done so much damage in just 7 months it?s hard to see how we survive another 12 max at this rate. The global reset agenda is marching ahead at break neck speed

Yeah...but I'm the sad person lol

..sad, you?re just a sad person. I?m sorry you are such an unhappy person

Have you re-read anything you've posted in the last 12 months? When Trump was president we had Bob. Now that Biden is president we have you.

if I were to suggest Biden is a brain aneurysm damaged imbecile would you not have a hard time disagreeing with that reality?

I don't know about the brain aneurysm (lol?) but imbecile sure.

The problem is that would be the most level headed thing you've said in weeks. This isn't a left or right thing. It's a reality vs fiction thing.

I get it man, our lives are busy there aren't enough hours in the day to stay well informed. Yes IMO he is likely in fact brain damaged. You did know this right? I really don't try to just throw stuff out my ass, would certainly explain his inability to complete a thought at times and wonder off would it not?

I just assumed he was senile due to old age, much like Trump.

But this country loooooooves to elect really old people for some reason.

The energy levels and mental capacity between the two are night and day, you assume wrong. age in and of itself isn't black and white. Even Bernie at a year older than Biden is still 95% present and has more energy than Dementia Joe. baring complete economic collapse and or another round of mail in planemic vote harvest in 24, Ron Desantis is currently only 42, he's make an excellent president IMO. Supports many of the same things Trump did and isn't nearly as big an asshole. I'm good with that.

Far too young. He should aim for 2032.

He?ll be 43 next week, 45 by the time he?s elected, Kennedy was 43 when elected

It?s what we do in America, from one extreme to the other just hope the country survives until 2024

and JFK was probably less qualified and competent than Biden. DeSantis will be 2 years older and actually have a track record of success as a governor vs a guy who was born on 3rd base and thought he hit a triple.

JFK undoubtedly was born with more advantages than 99% of Americans, but it's arguable, (at best) whether DeSantis is a "success" at governor, and if you have a problem with being born on 3rd base and thinking you hit a triple, DeSantis (or your buddy Trump) are hardly examples of people who scratched their way to success... DeSantis went to Yale for undergrad, and Harvard for law school. and played baseball for fun. Not a guy working his way through night school.

If not "born on 3rd base" he was born on 2nd.

Ah, so is anyone who played baseball and graduated magna cume laude from Yale born on at least second base? Or is it just the white guys?

it must suck to be so bitter, jealous and hateful of literally everyone who didn't peak as a middling corporate attorney who hates everything about corporations.

FYI, at age 43, Ron DeSantis reported net worth is $348k. He's spent most of his career in the military, congress and now as governor of Florida. There's no indication his parents are wealthy at least I can't find anything that suggests they are. His wife was a local TV personality - not bad but not exactly big bucks, maybe her family has some money but that wouldn't have had any impact on him getting into or exceeding at Yale.

Joe Sr. wanted the job of president. When he failed, Joe Jr. was the heir apparent. Joe Jr. was killed in a top-secret mission testing drone technology, though he was eligible to rotate home. The plane exploded before he could bail out. His body was never found. So, JFK was next in line, but he was not ever supposed to be president in his father's plan. JFK's body, conversely, was remains on public display.

I guess my point is that presidents are chosen; not elected, or have been for more than 100 years.
