You should pay attention to what's going on in this country and what's been said here before you draw more stupid conclusions about who I should be happy with. Biden and the folks in your tent are making a huge mess of everything (the economy, the pandemic/vaccines, education, the border, international relations, China...the list goes on). No one should be happy with Biden. At best I'm marginally grateful for Manchin & Sinema for not selling out like Pelosi and Schumer and instead stopping the insanity you favor because you're about as smart at AOC, Bush, etc.

The data is in. There was a record turnout for this election and McAuliffe got more votes than any of the previous winners of VA gubernatorial elections. Clearly, he didn't lose because the party has moved to the right. He lost because the people in the middle are massively disappointed with what's going on in VA and probably the country as well.

Keep telling yourself that - we could use another landslide midterm like we had under Clinton and Obama.
