Election Aftermath

There's a wild idea in the rumor phase right now that Pence did more to thwart the certification avoidance plan than has been previously reported.

Apparently, he waited out the attack in a loading dock:

Because his access badge to his office was deactivated:

And one reddit commenter is claiming that the Secret Service tried to take Pence away from the Capitol, which would have prevented the certification from happening if he couldn't get back. This anonymous poster claims Pence refused.

This has all the credibility of flight tracker posts in a coaching search, but I would like to see a copy of the PowerPoint presentation that was recently reported to exist.

The people at the capitol did not attempt an insurrection or a coup. Those that planned the subversion of the election, with that powerpoint about how to create a constitutional crisis that would allow Trump to remain in power if the right people ignored the rule of law? I think that does fit the definition of a coup d'etat. The people at the capitol were pawns in that effort, but not understanding collaborators.

edit: let me think about that, maybe it's not even a coup d'etat...they're not trying to overthrow the entire government. Just ignore one particular election result. I'm not sure what the word for that is. I left insurrection out of it, because that has a legal definition and this doesn't fit, but this is definitely something anti-democratic even if I don't know what to call it.

Okay... don't worry, I won't lose any sleep wondering why Merrick Garland and his DOJ just sit on their hands for the next 3 years without indicting anyone.

Maybe Trump & the retards in his administration really did plan something like that, but there was no chance of it succeeding, anymore than if a kindergarten class planned to seize control of a school. Nobody with real power - the military & intelligence agencies - were on board with that. They all wanted Biden in office.

We keep hearing about this bullshit because it provides the Democrats with an excuse for why they've been governing like shit: "Hey, look at January 6th... that was really bad. You're scared of that right? Keep voting for us, and doing literally nothing else to improve your country. Do not actually start getting active in public life."

January 6, in a nutshell. The whole thing is a big "Charlie Foxtrot" that no one other than Congressional Dems, the DC & NY media and random North Carolinians cares about. The last line is pretty funny...

Nobody cares - and they shouldn?t because it?s nothing more than a mostly peaceful protest.

My guess is a large percentage of the people he was talking about have 2nd homes in his state.

Rumor this anonymous Reddit poster that, nobody buys this shit anymore than you buy anything Alex Jones has to say other than the same Democraps that have trying to get trump on anything and everything since the day he rode down the escalator to announce he was running

Stick it up your buck fiden

Ok, I googled it and got names: Carol Leonnig and Philip Rucker. Washington Post journalists.

Looks like DeSantis was right but it's really not surprising or profound that the DC & NY media are some of the only people that care about this - however, it's pretty disturbing that they would hide this information they sought out and collected because it didn't fit their narrative. This doesn?t mean Pence?s actions weren?t heroic.

Another formally Trump-endorsed Republican is admitting the election wasn't stolen. What theory do the Big Lie Believers use to explain this away? And why don't you ever see it going the other way, with the occasional Dem admitting it was fixed?

Maybe because they are too busy only being hyperfocused on Jan 6th while not condemning their voters who attacked, looted, and burned other Federal buildings? Or maybe they are busy dodging bullets from criminals they released from prison or undocumented citizens who have joined gangs.

Or maybe they are too busy attempting to pass laws that allow people to vote without showing an ID, but requiring a Vax Card plus ID to simply enter into public areas? Or to do so many other things that now require an ID, like making small deposits into your own checking account. But hey, why should anyone be required to show their ID to vote?!?!?

If they want to make the controversy to go away, the duties is very simple. Show ID to vote. The states all provide ID, and after 9/11 it was an essential document to pretty much do anything, well... except arguably the most i.pirtant civil action one can do.

So why do Dems not support it??? If they are innocent and everything is above board, then what is the fucking problem? It does not infringe on their ability to vote any more than requiring it to make a $100 deposit in their checking account, purchase alcohol, purchase tobacco, and so many other things that we both know these people are doing.

He'll, it's not even that hard for these people to acquire fake ID. But damn if those IDs just miraculously disappear at the voting booth! The damn places are the REAL Bermuda Triangles! You walk in and *POOF* every Democrat voters' IDs disappear.... then when walking away *POOF*, it's back!!! That's some amazing new Science that Dems want us to follow, good thing they are the ones responsible for educating the young so they can understand how that Science works!

Kevin McCarthy says he won't cooperate with January 6 committee, claiming it's not 'conducting a legitimate investigation'

House Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy announced he will not cooperate with the January 6th committee
'This committee is not conducting a legitimate investigation,' McCarthy said
Panel asked him to voluntarily appear to talk about his phone call with Donald Trump on the day of the January 6th riot
McCarthy is the third GOP lawmaker the panel asked to appear
All have said no and panel chairman Bennie Thompson has not ruled out subpoenaing lawmakers

I would like to know why is no one subpoenaing Pelosi's email and phone records? Isn't the majority party responsible for the Capitol building security? If not, what entity does the Capitol Police report to? Why doesn't anyone on the committee or in the press want to see her text messages or ask who she was calling/taking calls from on Jan 6? What did she do to prevent people from trespassing, I mean attempting to violently overthrow the government armed with a baseball bat? Who directed the officers who removed barricades and waived the insurrectionists in? That's on some of the video we're allowed to see. Apparently there are more than 10,000 hours of video locked away - presumably for national security reasons, of course. Why does no one ask why she refused Trump's offer of National Guard troops to protect the White House and Congress on Jan 6 several days prior?

Dems control the house and the inquiry, that's never going to happen.

of course it's not, and no one is asking the question because Dems also dominate the popular press.

chuckles the clown is doing everything he can to try and get the voteing rights reform ramped up our asses. I don't believe he'll be successful but if they are! we'll be doomed for good!
