BALTIMORE -- The Green Bay Packers lost Randall Cobb and James Jones -- two of their top three receivers -- in the first half of Sunday's 19-17 victory over the Baltimore Ravens.

After Jones went down with a left leg injury in the first quarter, Cobb left with a right knee injury in the second quarter. Neither player will return to the game.

The Packers were left with only two available receivers -- Jordy Nelson and the seldom-used Jarrett Boykin.

Cobb had four catches for 53 yards while Jones had one catch for 10 yards before departing. Cobb came into the game with a team-high 25 catches, while Jones led the Packers with 339 yards receiving.

Jones was injured while blocking on a run by Eddie Lacy. Cobb got hurt after he caught a 15-yard pass. He appeared to get hit on the knee by the helmet of Ravens safety Matt Elam.

Shortly before halftime, Packers linebacker Nick Perry also sustained an apparent right knee injury after he sacked Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco, who fumbled on the play.

The Packers recovered the fumble with two seconds left in the half, and Mason Crosby kicked a 31-yard field goal that gave the Packers a 6-0 halftime lead.

The Pack seem to have a ton of guys injured every year...and they still find ways to win games.

Yet they still won...

Baltimore ain't what they were last year and boy did they really overpay flacco or what

I love seeing that blow up in their faces. They had to let guys go to give him that huge contract so now he should be expected to pick up the slack but he can't.

2 of his top targets from last year are either no longer on the team or injured....according to people on this board youre not allowed to be a good qb when youre missing 2 guys on your offense....its a rule.

They lost Boldin because of money, him getting that huge contract had something to do with that.

And according to you, not having a backup plan is fuckin stupid.

They must have a terrible GM.

their GM decided to get rid of basically their entire team that won a superbowl and the only guy he brought back he overpaid for in flacco. So ya....id agree with that statement this year.

the difference is he'll string together consecutive solid drafts and they'll bounce back.

Cobbs injury actually looks ugly. Atleast a bad hyperextension....but probably some sort of sprained ligament in the knee.

remember that when you look at the cap numbers for Stafford, Suh and Megatron. It is always going to be difficult to field a playoff caliber team when you are top heavy with your contracts.

Gonna be really interesting to see how Rodgers does against Cleveland with only 1 great receiver.

Rodgers has Finley and Nelson. And a running game now (over 5 YPC) and they have played much better on defense. It used to be Rodgers with some weapons and junk rest of the team. They should still beat Cleveland.

Lions/Bears need to beat Green Bay for sure at home. They have trouble at NY usually but not this year with the Giants being terrible. Same with at Vikings. At Dallas is the only other one GB could lose. That win at Baltimore was big for Green Bay.

Browns Falcons,Steelers, Vikings, Bears, Eagles in Lambeau the Pack shouldn't have a big problem. Hopefully someone steals a game or two there though.
