A guy who might be available and improved greatly since last year is Ramses Barden. Tall guy who could benefit from learning some things from CJ and the two of them would be potentially hard to defend in Red Zone.

Pipe dream to get Cruz or Welker, so trying to keep things a bit more realistic. I mean, why not just go and approach Larry Fitzgerald and find out what it would take to swing a trade for him if we are going to dream, right?

That said, not much talent available as one should expect those types to be re-signed by their current team. Heck, I think even Ted Ginn, Jr. will remain with Niners. Barden might be a possibility though, and would not likely have a high $$$. Granted he isn't the speed guy the Lions also need, but maybe they can get that in draft. Going to need more than one WR unless they actually do the unthinkable and re-sign Burleson.
 
Should be about the same schedule he was on this year for next year, more than likely he will start the year on the PUP.
