My favorite is the 100 grand bar.

I don't actually trick-or-treat anymore.

What are you dressing as tonight, anyways M&B?

SO you don't buy candy for the kids specifically so you can take a few here or there as you pass it out?

Today there's a bunch of candy around the office. I pulled out multiple kit kat bars, tootsie rolls, mr. goodbars, etc.

I would say my favorite has to be the classic...Reeses.

When I was a kid it was always Butterfinger. I liked Snickers as well.

Peanut Butter Taffy. I don't know what the name is, but they are cheap and great!

They come in the orange and black wrapper.

Believe it or not, if I want to eat candy I just go and buy some. I don't need to wait for Halloween to roll around to skim off the top.

Now you're just being a contrarian.

One of the best things about Halloween is buying way too many bags of Candy so you have it when the day is gone.

Our neighborhood is absolutely INSANE on Halloween night .... but our block itself isn't as busy so in the past we've had way too much left over. I think we have it about right now.

When I was in HS in TC and no longer out trick-or-treating, we'd get 300 kids, easy.

Now we're more like 15, maybe. But watching the little dude out and about -- he was so excited this morning that he could dress up for school, he was up at 6am and wouldn't go back to sleep.

Same here on all counts. I usually leave the bowl out at the end and it gets cleaned out by the kids that show up last minute. Its always older kids so I figure it ensures my house never gets vandalized.

I'm the exact opposite, I always give the cute kids at the end like handfuls of candy (which their parents probably end up eating anyway) and screw those like 15-18 year olds that come by. Anyone that can drive to the store to buy their own candy - doesn't get any from me. Similarly, if you don't dress up or your idea of dressing up is drawing a mustache on with marker....no candy.

Well I definately am more generous with the cute little squirts, but also as it gets later and I realize I bought waaaay too much candy I start doling it out by the fistful, then leave the bowl on the front step for whoever is lucky enough to stop late.

YES! Exactly. We leave with the dude and leave a bowl and figure it's a pay-off of sorts.

The raccoons thank you!

I used to love 100 Grand and Butterfingers. Tonight I was shying away from them (took my daughter out T&T) because I had 5 fillings done 2 weeks ago that still hurt like hell and that caramel would probably cripple my jaw. Always loved me some Reese's PB cups though.

Just about anything with chocolate. Always hated the Sweet Tarts, hard candy necklace thingies, and rock candy.

Am I the only one old enough to remember when they were called "100,000 dollar bars?" Or am I the only one willing to admit it??
