Last year he hit .326 with 24 HR and a 1.096 OPS at home. He hit .272 with 14 HR and 0.869 OPS on the road. Over the past 3 seasons he has averaged about .296, 22 HR and OPS of 1.006 at home with his road stats being .279, 17 and .907. I assume that his HR totals will fall off a little due to the difference between Copa and Miller Park. My guess is he hits .290 with 37 HR and 110 RBI

Comerica's fences are closer in than miller park's in right/right center by 10-15 feet, one foot further in left/left-center, and then 20 feet in center. with the shorter right-field porch, think he will hit MORE homers in comerica than miller (or at least, the same).

Not a big difference but very interesting. I wonder why the huge difference between home and away?

It is isn't all about distances from home plate. Fence height comes into play. Then there is the cardinal directions.

As an example. Miller Park RF is in the South. Winds blow mostly from the west (NW, W, SW). So, with a wind from the NW or N of any kind, flyballs in Miller to RF will be wind aided.

Comerica, RF is W by SW. Meaning, wind would have to blow from the N or NE to aide a HR to RF or RC.

Again, I slight difference in orientation. Plus, each area of the country have different jet stream flows throughout the summer.

So, as of right now, over Milwaukee it is coming from the NW. In Detroit, it is from the W.

I know why he batted better at home, his own bed, home cooking and his family. The same for just about every player in the league. Guess what, in Detroit he'll have the same.

Speaking of Prince's numbers, now we know why the Tigers cut Will Rhymes. ::)
He was wearing Prince's #28.
