game

was stuck at some relatives for a friday night dinner -orthodox - no tv on friday night

Yeah I lived out in Vegas at the time and I was watching it.. My friend back in Michigan who i talk to durning just about every game had given up at 28-7 and when i called him when the score was 35 to 35 he did not believe me...LOL,,,Till he turned it on... Interesting how the broadcast crew had Mike Golic on it and the play by play guy was mentioning Michigan's poor special teams play under Carr had cost them the Oregon and Iowa games that year. I need to get my file banks in order to try and remember those games... I hate Michigan losses so i tend to forget them...

Rivas looked good on the winner...

I won tickets on a radio show today... Taking my son to the game Saturday to try and avenge my only loss in 8 tries at the Big house... (2005 Minnesota game)

That's the game where I was at a Friday night wedding!!! Thought a Fri wedding was no prob and then the Twins screwed us!! Remember how Carr tried to get the game moved to A2 to be played on Sat, as planned .....but in Michigan?!

the ND comeback this year kinda reminded me of that game. I don't remember feeling like we were out of it when we were down 28-7.

the nagging voice in your head tells you how rarely a comeback of that magnitude is, but the play on the field seems to suggest you have a good chance to comeback.

I was watching that in my room on my 13'' tv lol. If I remember correctly that is/was the only Michigan game played on Friday that i can remember because I think the stadium was being used for a baseball playoff game on that Saturday so they moved it to Friday. It was also pretty late at night. I think that game started at like 8 or 9 at night. Everyone else went to bed because we were losing so badly and I stayed up in my room to watch it; glad I did.

yep. The Twins were playing in the Metrodome Saturday, so they moved it to Friday. I guess they didn't think there was a chance the Twins would make the postseason when they scheduled that game.

Well I stayed up and watched - oh, that's right, it was earlier for me. Anyway, I dug watching Navarre catching a touchdown pass...

Play is at 4:49 of this vid....

That Navarre TD pass from Breaston is one of my favorite moments in Michigan football history.

The pass itself was ok, but I liked watching him lumber down the field with a bunch of linemen in front of him.

That may have been the slowest moving, and yet most unstoppable run for a TD ever. Usually the guy with the ball outruns his blockers and gets chased down outside their protection... not that time.

No one from Minnesota wanted a piece of that convoy.

It was great, it was like 4 or 5 just wide open lineman + Navarre no little CB was ever going to stop that.

That's what I said earlier, Carr actually tried to move the game to A2 to keep it on Saturday as scheduled. Old salty dog, Carr ..

I was i. Los angrles and coumdnt see anything at my cousins Get in car to head home at 11:30 and newsradio teaser was "big comeback in college football tonight". No mention of who xame back but only one game played

Had to wait 20 minutes to find out it wss us

I was at that wedding reception and by the end of the comeback, with all these texts from a buddy of mine, the whole table was pulling for Michigan and waiting on each text update! All were Jayhawks pretty much.

And I missed the :01 left vs PSU because I was in Mazatlan, Mexico. I was able to see ESPN but not the game -- the ticker showed Michigan down with :01 left. Next time the ticker updated, Michigan had won ... I waited to see the ticker again before being sure.

By the time we were flying back home, the game was an "Instant Classic" and we got to watch the game on the flight back.

....and I missed the OJ White Bronco chase because I was in Europe.

you're basically un-american, is what you're saying.

I was actually a senior in high school, at an away football game. I remember my buddy Mike, who happened to be about the only other Michigan fan I knew, calling someone for the score, then hearing it was 28-7 late in the third.

Next morning I get online to read about the massacre Michigan just suffered, only to shit myself when I saw they dropped 31 points in the 4th to win.

Sure miss Chris Perry...
