I agree. Remember when the national consensus was that DickRod was going to dominate the B1G? Not so much. I heard that Irvin Mayer banned twitter from the players. I wonder how that's going to go over. If you treat the players like children it could backfire.

I think some of it is also the perceived dominance of the SEC. People just think oh you won in the SEC so that means winning anywhere else is gonna be a slam dunk. And I think Urban will benefit from the perception of him early on. The real challenge will be 2-3 years from now to see where both programs are. I have seen enough from Hoke to know he will take Urban on head on and he will make sure the players do to. All I have heard from Ohio fans is that we should be scared of the great Urban Meyer and when I am not they get mad.
