Fucking Peach Bowl.....???

No.

Of course I saw the movie but I think only once and when it first came out.

I certainly remember some of the bits that were in the movie but I don’t remember this at all.

Beginning of the movie and only once.. I haven't seen it in a long time but I've seen it so many times when it was much younger. I mean it had a very young Kevin Bacon in it.. Chip.

You should go to the game.

What are you, only a couple of hours from Atlanta?

EDIT: Showing about five hours. Still? I think you should go.

Less than four hours. I'm already booked that day. Probably will not watch it, either. If I was not occupied, I'd consider attending.

Flounder and Pinto were rushing Omega House and they were directed by Neidermeier into an ante-room where all the rejects were sequestered. Kinda like Michigan being on the outside looking in on the playoff and NYD bowl games.

Was predicted earlier this week
We probably won?t sell out allotment

Game tickets are $160 each

What a joke!! Why would anyone travel and pay that much money to see the F'in Peach bowl?

That is way to expensive for me. But then they all would be. I will watch and I hope we win but a 10 win season is a let down. We failed to even show up in Ohio st game and we appear even further away from winning that game.

I am befuddled at Jim, and the whole coaching staff. I just don’t know why in year four it feels like we are behind.. It is so darn frustrating how fooled I was going in and believing in this team at Columbus. I guess we have next season lol..

I thought for sure we'd get Georgia. Doesn't #5 vs #7 and #10 vs #15 make more sense than #7 vs #10 and #5 vs #15???

All they had to do is switch the two SEC teams.

I would have gone to the game had it been Georgia. Florida again? What a disappointment.

The Sugar Bowl, when it isn?t part of the CFP rotation, will get the SEC champ, unless the conference champ makes it to The CFP. In that case, the Sugar Bowl will get the best available SEC team.

So Georgia gets stuck with a 5 loss team. Yeah, I know they only have 4 losses now. They'll have 5 after the game.

That doesn't explain why Texas is the pick over Michigan? Are you saying it's the sec champ vs b12 champ? And Georgia and Texas are the 2 runner ups?

Don?t know.

I don?t know why Michigan didn?t get the Sugar Bowl.

I only know why Georgia did.

Back in about 1984, Michigan played Auburn in the Sugar Bowl. Bo Jackson was on that Auburn team.

Ask the committee I guess.

Yes. When the Sugar and Rose bowls aren't involved with the playoff the Sugar is SEC vs. Big 12 and the Rose is Big 10 vs Pac 12. My guess is the Peach had the first pick and took UM.

This makes sense.

Big 12 has a tie in to the Orange Bowl. Do the two conferences meet their when the Sugar Bowl hosts the semifinal?

kind of

Orange (ACC vs. highest ranked SEC/Big Ten non-champion or Notre Dame when Orange is not a semifinal game)

I have always wanted a home and home with Georgia, but I'm glad we don't get them in this bowl game. I don't want the season to end with two embarrassing losses and they would beat the breaks off our ass. Brown putting our LBs in one on one coverage against their RBs would be a disaster. Unlike our coaching staff, Georgia is aware that it's not illegal to use your RBs in the passing game.

All that being said, this match up blows. I guess I could make a peach pie for the game with some ice cream. That's about the most exciting thing I can come up with for this match up.

I bet 3-4 starters forego this game. If I were Bush or Gary, I wouldn't go near the field and just focus on the NFL. Why not...?

Harbaugh already announced that Gary is sitting out

I have no problem with this.

This is a New Year’s six bowl. Three of them are played on the 29th and the other three of them are played on January 1.

There was never going to be a choice between Michigan and LSU being selected for the Fiesta Bowl. Michigan would have either gone to Phoenix and played LSU or would have gone to Atlanta to play Florida. Also the committee selects the other four New Year’s six matchup’s, not the bowls themselves.

Even if it wasn't, playing UCF is kind of a no-win situation. If you were to lose, I think the optics of losing to a power 5 team, even a lower ranked one are better than losing to UCF. And beating UCF would probably be less valuable as well - I think it would be viewed as more of an "I told you so" to UCF fans who thought they should be in the playoffs than as a quality win for uofm.
