I don't see anything in there about Iraq.

don't be fatuous. you know the same people applied the same rationale there, and the same issues arose in that context as they would domestically, albeit perhaps maybe not to the same degree...
"The Federal Government should be the last resort, not the first. Ask if a potential program is truly a federal responsibility or whether it can better be handled privately, by voluntary organizations, or by local or state governments."

Just because the same rationale could be used to support or attack private snow removal and private contractors in the Iraq War doesn't mean one is a good analogy for the other. It's absurd. I'm in favor of public snow removal and against private contractors fighting in Iraq but I think your assertion of their link is silly. It's Glen Beck level nonsense. "Private Snow Removal! That starts with 'P' which rhymes with 'D' which stands for 'Donald Rumsfeld'!"

marvelous. Red, you up to speed now?

Don't be so sensitive. He didn't know you really have fallen off a turnip truck.

Interesting - calling me hopelessly na?ve in this context doesn't make a lot of sense.

I suppose I could have posted "Well I'll be dipped in dogshit.", feigning surprise, but figured this would "hit too close to home" with you and Thumb because y'all may actually be.

Hold on tight... turnip truck just hit a bump.

Says you - how would you know?

Is that you next to me? Gee I thought it was that guy from the picture of that trailer park with him next to his toilet that you posted.

Figured, as astute as you are, that you would pick up on that. Good job Thumb.

I are a Sutherner now . . . but I am guessing that picture looks more like Michigan residents from the thumb area. Certainly not here in Atlanta.
