Game 1: Lions @ Chargers Thread

We need Levy back. And Lombardi has to change. Hard to make the plaoffs and overcome an 0-4 or 1-3 start. Bad loss.

Offense had nothing to do with 30 unanswered points. If Stafford had thrown 4 more TDs today, we'd still be losing right now.

Think about that... if our QB had just played the greatest game in the history of the NFL, we'd still be down in the 4th quarter.

You simply cannot blame the offense there or even suggest that we could have buried them. We couldn't. You can't slam the coffin down on a team when you're defense is holding the lid open for them.

Wtf are you talking about... you do realize we get the ball back after every SD score right? 21-3 21-10 21-13 21-20....score one time during this mess and we probably win because it changes everything. ..

Shit.. that was actually a good pass by Stafford, and an athletic catch by Tate.... and a great play by Weddle.

I wish he would have intercepted it. Kind of like assisted suicide if you will.

It's incomplete. But also its head to head contact. Even if not intentional tate is defenseless and that should be called.

You know, the way they are over analyzing the "had control of the ball" shit now, I'm surprised they didn't erase OBJ's amazing catch last year because having one hand doesn't "establish control" anymore.

I'm not sure which is sadder, the way we melted down today with a big lead...

.. or the fact that ONCE again, we are still in it late, which is just enough to give us hope, until we remember we can't stop Rivers and he's about to crush any hope we have.
