Game 10: Jaguars @ Lions Thread

Looks like destitution and despondency right now. Come on boys turn it around this half!

Terrible offense. Roberts muff made up for with td. Big quin forced fumble. Nice late drive but stafford had a guy open for td..take the 3 and the tie for now

Need big second half

The Lions offense has been mostly off Sunday, crossing midfield on just one possession in the first half of a 9-9 game against Jacksonville.
Detroit's best unit has been its special teams, with an Andre Roberts punt return for a touchdown and multiple strong punts from Sam Martin.
The special teams -- and good defense -- have kept the Lions in this game.

The Jaguars are tied 9-9 with the Lions at halftime because their offense and special teams -- and stop me if you've heard this before -- self destructed. Chris Ivory fumbled, they killed drives with penalties, gave up a punt return TD, and Jason Myers missed a PAT.
All that happened while the defense was holding the Lions to 20 yards through five possessions.

Jaguars QB Blake Bortles is having his right shoulder evaluated at halftime but is expected to return and play the second half.
That's why Chas Henne took the final snap in the first half.

It sure would be nice to wake up and blow this team out. Something different for us lions fans to see.

Yet again Lions match the quality of their opponents in another likely one-score loss or win.

Pick 6 !!!!!!!

Bush!!!!!!!!!
Prater makes !!!!!!

The Lions have 3 rushing yards in the first half: Dwayne Washington with four carries for four yards; Matthew Stafford with one carry for one yard and Theo Riddick with one carry for minus-2 yards.

And no sign of Theo Riddick on the Lions sideline, either, as the second half starts.

That is Blake Bortles' 10th interception returned for a TD. Ball high and bounces off Marqise Lee's hands.
Play was set up when Bortles missed a wide open Allen Hurns on second down.

Jaguars announce that TE Marcedes Lewis (calf), RB TJ Yeldon (ankle) and LG Patrick Omameh (foot) will not return.

Just a freaking horrible call by that ref unless I missed something?Slay had postion and ball was under thrown.
