Game 11: Eagles @ Lions *Thanksgiving* Thread

I'll say this much... I don't know if he's a good coordinator or not because the sample size is too small.. But Cooter has been a better coordinator over three games than Dumbardi was in a year and a half.

Can you say "Wayne Fontes"? The guy should have been fired about four years in a row but the Lions would play well on Thanksgiving, win a few in December, and either just miss the playoffs or make them barely (and of course lose the playoff game). But WCF would bring ole sad-faced Fontes back. This year reminds me of that era.

This team baffles me. They've looked like complete garbage all season, and only really started to look decent last game. Today, they come out and look like world beaters. Where the hell has this been all year? Were Lombardi and the other clowns they fired really that much of a bad influence on the team or is the timing of improved play following their firing just coincidental?

How the hell in this day and age can people still make it on the field as easy as these idiots did? They looked like they just walked right out there without anyone noticing or bothering to stop them until they were in the middle of the field holding their banners up. Call me old fashion, but I was rooting for players or security to beat the shit out of them for being annoying disruptions.

They were playing a REALLY shitty team...that's why they looked like world beaters!
