Seems like the Tigers have been playing the White Sox for a month.

3-0 bad guys

James McCann continuing to have a great season. He's hitting .324 vs Tigers this year. 7 games 4 doubles, 4 RBI, 3 walks. I don't think that includes today's RBI double either.

Alex Avila too. Both hitting well.

Where was our LF playing. Took him like a week to get to the ball.

Well...@ least the Kittens avoided being SHO for the 11th time!! As yet another likely losing streak of some duration begins...

Last time that they won 2 in a row was @ red sox on April 23 (also the last time that they were 2 games over .500 after winning both ends of DH) Last time that they won ANY games in a row was 3 from May 28-29, to 31, @ orioles (2) and @ braves (1).

Dixon on the mound throwing the 9th. Eight years ago, my fastball was clocked at 73 mph from a regulation mound. With a Stalker, not a Jugs. (Stalker measures speed 2/3 of the way to the mound and not from the hand) I was 54 years old. And I was not airing it out. Watching Dixon lob those turds to the plate was embarrassing.

White Sox 8 - Tigers 1: Tyler Alexander scuffles as Tigers drop series.
The Tigers? nonexistent offense did Alexander no favors in the series finale.

Detroit Tigers fall without much of a fight, 8-1 to Chicago White Sox.

Tigers DFA Rosenthal and ship Jimenez back to Toledo.

While only being 3 games into the final third of the season, Kittens have already stretched out a comfortable lead for the #1 pick in the '20 draft. The orioles have 5 more wins and 3 fewer loses, while the next closest competitor in the royals have 8 more wins and 4 fewer losses, so unless the team start to win more often than they have since the beginning of June, they have quite likely locked up being the losingest team in MLB. Just how most losing, has yet to be determined . They ARE somewhat underperforming their Pythag, which indicates having a 2 wins better record @ this point.

Don't see how they can shed 3 RPs off the 25 man, one being their best via trade and do any better with whoever replaces them. Maybe the brass really wants to set a new MLB record for losses this season?

Tigers' woeful defense, pitching enable White Sox to jam bases.
