Speaking of smallish our two new rooks have battings averages of .237, & .182, but OBP's of .348, & .325 ! Funny they can get on base but can't hit past their noise.

2 hits and suddenly Demeritte doesn't look so bad at .275.

But no offense doesn't mean a pitcher can't pitch well. If somehow he lets say has a 3.10ERA next season with a boat load of k's but has a record of 3-10 it won't prevent teams from wanting to trade him.

He will have to pitch great all next year. He has proven to be inconsistent (month to month).

This year looks a lot like last year (with the exception of his strikeout numbers being higher)

In other news, as red hot as Castellanos has been as a Cubbie since being traded...17 hits 6 doubles 4 homers .370 BA...Greene has NOT as a Brave...2 BlSv, 1 loss, a 1 batter hold, 11.25 ERA, and a 3.25 WHIP

12 of his 25 starts have been quality, 7 of his first 8. Meaning, 5 of his last 17 have been quality.
