Game 12: Rams @ Lions Thread

4-8, but @ least they weren't blown out by Rams... a moral victory!

They might even go 3-1 to end the season @ 7-9, and fuckup their T10 draft slotting.

b/c Lions.

When was the last time that the Lions never reached .500 at any time during a season?

2015

Oh it’s mosly on Jbc. But Matt has his issues also.

I can't argue that. I hate Stafford right now. He's not clutch, hes missing throws, he has no pocket presence, and he's hurting the team with his turnovers. Honestly, I think he's damaged goods, but we're stuck with him for a few years. If there's somebody out there that we see as an immdiate upgrade over Cooter, fire him, who cares what Stafford wants, his wants should not be a priority.

I wonder if the college players who are projected to go early in the draft they're like "sheet Detroit lost."

So damn close. Hand hands to face for first td, two dropped pick 6s, 17 rams points from short fields

Stafford had 100 rating then golladay decided not to jump for jump ball. 7th of 11th pick not his fault.

Donald mvp again. Incredibly irritating. Donald too damn small but just dominates

The Lions need to sign a mobile vet QB to push Staggard next year. Like Kaepernick, on a cheap prove it 1 year contract while promising not to kneel during our NA.

By the start of next season it would be what 3 years that Kaepersuck has played? Not sure I'd want him.

The city of Detroit has got to be one of the least desirable places to go, nothing to do with the team. If you're planning on being drafted in the top 10, are you really planning on going to a successful team? I think these guys are just excited for the opportunity to play .

So Cassel again?

Colin had played in more games in '16 (12 vs 4) and Matt has only played in small parts of 3 games in this season (vs Jets) and in '17 (2).

How much worse could he be. than who the Lions backup is this season?

There's bad teams and then there's Detroit. Detroit never wins.. 60 years now.

Passer rating means little when your QB fumbles that eventually leads to a score. And that's the thing Matt fumbles too much.

No but not Kaepersuck. Get someone else.

Yeah...like who?

Anyone else more push-worthy @ backup they probably can't spend on, and will want to be or compete for the starter spot. They might and likely will need a replacement for Lame Lang on the oline. And Blount gone or resigned @ RB, they will need an edge rush for FA Ansah. A good vet CB or 2. Improved pass rush. Can't often get starters with a 3rd rounder. Everyone wants the Lions to go all in on defense next year.
