The rookies shine? 🤣🤣 I can't believe that they gave Sweeney a hit for that. It was obviously a throwing error.

14, 11 = 25 Fourteen times held to one run, Eleven times to zero runs. Twenty-five this 0 fense has been awful!

SATURDAY SURVEY.
Totally Tigers

Two and a half weeks ago, the Detroit Tigers traded away 4 players – Mark Canha, Andrew Chafin, Jack Flaherty and Carson Kelly. Many Tiger fans then closed the book on the team’s 2024 season because of the trades.
However, instrumental players are starting to return from the IL including Kerry Carpenter. Riley Greene will be back in apparently one week. Casey Mize and Reese Olson are progressing and expected to be back within weeks.
And the Tigers are adding players from Toledo – Dillon Dingler, Brenan Hanifee, Sean Guenther, Brant Hurter, Bligh Madris, Parker Meadows, Keider Montero and Bryan Sammons.
Jace Jung (3B) and Trey Sweeney (SS) just got called up.
So how do you feel about all the roster changes? Excited about the new faces or do you wish the old ones were still here?
Are the Tigers giving up on the year or are they moving forward in their rebuild by testing the young prospects to see who will make next year’s roster?
Do you think the Tigers will struggle to win games or are they starting to rebound now that players are coming off the IL?
What are you feeling about the rest of this season?

How are you feeling about the rest of the Tigers' season?

1. Excited to see the new players.

2. There's a chance this could be interesting.

3. Yawn.

I voted #3. I'm not excited to see any of these players. With the pitching staff the way it is, it isn't going to be interesting. That said, I am glad that these kids are getting a chance to get their feet wet and gain some MLB experience. A few weeks now may make the transition next year a little smoother.
