Left-handed hitting Leonys Martin will get the start in center field Friday night against New York Yankees southpaw Jordan Montgomery.
The Detroit Tigers center fielder is 0-for-6 this season against lefties, but has six hits in the last two games.

Current members of the Yankees have hit .328 (20-for-61) against Fiers in past meetings. Neil Walker (9-for-19, three doubles and a home run) has faced him more than any other player in pinstripes.
Montgomery has never pitched against the Tigers.

I'm still bitter over last August series when the yankee's pitchers kept hitting Tigers batters and then Miggy got into it with the backup catcher romine, and fuck faces sanchez and judge sucker punched Miggy in his back and throat while he was on the ground, and fuck face joe torre at the MLB discipline office did not suspend any of them.

and the yankees last series vs. the redsox when another one of their goons slid into second with his cleats high and spiked the sox infielder which set off another fight.
