The South Siders join the 2003 Tigers, 1962 Mets and 1899 Cleveland Spiders as the only teams to lose 100 games before September. They are also the first team in club history to lose 100 games in consecutive seasons.

The Tigers in the last 30 days have gone first to third on singles an MLB-most 24 times without being thrown out. Keith did it twice Sunday and Ibanez once.

Madden will start Monday night against the Chicago White Sox at Guaranteed Rate Field. The 24-year-old is coming off his best stretch in Triple-A Toledo, posting a 5.63 ERA with five walks and 37 strikeouts across 24 innings in four starts.
Gonna be tough to win and get to .500 and next week they play the angels and f'n red sox.
