One, then two RISP for the Tigers in the first, but the next three go down in order, including Jeimer who checked too late and was called out on a K swinging instead of walking.

Boyd gives up a leadoff double to whit on the first pitch....then gets forced/tagged out by lingering off second on a grounder to third by mondesi...who himself gets picked off by straying too far off first...lolz.

Boyd is still scuffling though, soler HBP, then gives up a single to dozier...but gets mcbroom to fly out to left ending the royals rally.
