Game # 152 Detroit @ Kansas City, Tuesday September 17th, 2024, 7:40

Poor Dingler he smoked that ball..
Sweeney out at 2nd. Ball did not get far enough away from the Catcher. Be smarter.
Meadows grounds out.

Two runners out stealing.
Two stranded at 3rd with less then 1 out.

Perez doubles . What a poor at bat by Mckinstry pops out.
So unlucky Spencer smokes that ball

Wouldn't you use Carpenter in Mckinstry spot ? I am Confused as usual.
Perez missed a homer by a few feet.

When are we going to see Jung’s power ?
He battled but swing at a ball and k’d

Amazing Meadows delivers again in Extra’s ! Bloop single.
Greene gets the insurance smash single !

Foley had to get Witt Jr, Perez in the 10th.

What a surprise ending and win for our Tigers. My thoughts were a loss and 5 runs allowed by mize or a late loss in a close game. Now Wednesday Skubal is pitching and he has not pitched well vs. the royals especially in their ball park. The royals pitcher tonight just passed him and leads in strikeouts.

Sept 14: Scoreless start as opener.
Sept. 16: Throws 99.5 mph, gets double play in scoreless eighth.
Sept. 17: Strikes out the side, including Bobby Witt Jr., in scoreless seventh.

With Tigers' season on the line, Beau Brieske flashed 99.5 mph — he just keeps impressing.

If Keith doesn't play the next few days..McKinstry and Ibanez will play 2B..even Jung..with Perez playing more often.
