Colt Keith (right shoulder) went through infield drills a little while ago. He won’t play tonight (McKinstry at 2B) but is confident he’ll be back in a couple days. Swing felt good. DH role is in play. Will go through a throwing progression prior to return. Good news.

If you’ve been a Tiger fan for awhile, you are seeing the difference in how this team plays. I’m not talking about the previous poor years of play and the recent solid performance we’re seeing now.

I do like this brand of baseball better (speed and defense). I don't think they have any good defenders besides Rogers and in the OF. They need to improve their infield defense. They also need some more bats. Speed and defense can help, but you still need a good offense. They also need to add some starting pitching depth this off season. You can use this bull pen strategy for a short period of time, but over time, you are going to wear out your bullpen, which will turn a strength into a weakness.
