Game # 155 Detroit @ Baltimore, Saturday 21st, 4.10 pm

I posted that earlier. Bad weather on east coast.
Friday and Saturday were the first days we had any rain in and around Boston for a month. 5th longest drought in the summer ever.
Should be some rain Sunday morning, rain before seven, done by eleven.

The white sox just lost their 119 game of the season and are now tied with the 2003 Tigers for the A.L record for losses in a season. Their next loss will tie the 1962 expansion new york Mets with 120. With 7 games left in the season they should break that and have the ML record all to themselves.

DEEPER DISCUSSIONS.
Totally Tigers

The Detroit Tigers have been playing some remarkable baseball. Since July 1st, they’ve had the 2nd best record in MLB after the Astros. Since August 11th, the best record in baseball.
Now over .500, they have won most of their series over the past 2 months.
Through Friday’s games, they have been battling the Twins for the last wild card spot. To get it, they must win more games than the Twins.

There are a lot of factors contributing to their emergence as a competitive team. Lots of credit to go around.
But who do you believe deserves the most credit for where this team is now?
Scott Harris?
A. J. Hinch and his coaches?
The players?

Today’s blog addresses this question and allows readers to share their thoughts in more detail. And hopefully, to actively engage with others by responding to their posts and creating back-and-forth discussion threads. The more the merrier!

TT will supply the ammunition. One thought-provoking question. Several options provided. One hard choice to be selected. One vote.

I wonder if the father/son duo who attacked the Royals first base coach years ago will reunite to attack the entire White Sox roster. 🤣
