Game 17 Tigers vs. pirates April 17, 2019

Well if we don't comeback here and win this will be the 12th time in 17 games the Tigers have scored 3 runs or less. It's a shame too since the pitching has only given up 57 runs so far this season.

That is why you bunt damn it. This team can’t freaking hit right now.

walk off walk off come on Cabrera earn your money

10% of the season is over and 64 at bats 2 doubles in 16 hits 3 rbi's and 30 million!

Just pathetic.

Jesus can this team ever get a big hit. My god Fire Avila right now for this mess this team is. If this team just had average hitting they would be 5 to 7 games over .500

Man Miggy is just baaaaad

It’s not just him I’ve never seen so many guys in the same lineup late on fastballs as much as this team it’s like there all stuck in low gear getting the foot down no rhythm in the timing mechanisms at all

5th loss in a row and might be the last time the Tigers will be within sniffing @ or above .500 this season. They are dead last in every single significant team batting category in all of MLB...unless Miggy and esp Nick pick it up this season, the '03 team may have been better offensively.

Losing two of their SPs for the season will catch up to them sooner or later. Rooks will tire as the season goes along into the dog daze of summer.

Pirates 3 - Tigers 2: Bullpen falters late in extra innings loss.
After another stellar start by Spencer Turnbull, the offensive support didn?t follow.

Add defense, bullpen to Tigers' offensive woes in 5th straight loss: Quick takeaways.

On gloomy evening at Comerica, Tigers lose fifth straight.

Attendance will have to suffer with how bad this offense is right ?

The 2003 Tigers scored 591 runs which was 3.65 runs per game.
This team is averaging 2.65 runs per game.

Offensively I think we're going to break a lot of futility records this season. I just don't see enough of these guys getting a lot better. I just don't see how it improves significantly. It certainly doesn't look like we're just in a slump...we're just bad.

Add to all that's been said Greiner takes strike one so many at bats, it's sick to watch him.
