Game 19 Tigers vs. white sox April 19, 2019

The bat timing and rhythm is at least starting to look a little better, even migler he was fouling off 94 upstairs tonight instead of missing 91 right down the pike

It?s a start

Hopefully. Something has to get better, but I just don't see how this line up can ever be consistent and routinely produce a respectable run total for any stretch.

I was peaking at the Astros box score again to see how Verlander did...and then start looking at Houston's offensive numbers. So Houston is ranked about 20th in runs scored in MLB....so not an offensive juggernaut at this point in the season. But the lowest OBP guy in the line up tonight was .333. We have 2 guys with an OBP above that (Miggy and Goodrum). One guy in their line up is SLG .242. The next lowest was .437. We have 2 guys in the line up SLG over .437 (Goodrum and Beckham).

Bring on the machines to call balls and strikes.
Too many bad strike zone calls, and most umps are so thin skinned, they know they make a bad call and then throw someone out of the game for speaking up about it.

I want George Jetson type robots back there..

White Sox 7, Tigers 3: But oh, those home runs felt good.
There was no comeback tonight, but it wasn?t all bad.

Tigers hit 3 rare dingers, but still lose to White Sox: Quick takeaways.

How long before Zim goes on the DL? Next we will hear he's been pitching through some obscure injury unique to only Tiger's pitchers.

Detroit scouts have zero clue what obp is when evaluating young players sadly :/
