Series History

The Lions are 5-6 against the Broncos
Last Game: 10/30/2011, Lions 45 Broncos 10
Last Game at Home: 11/4/2007, Lions 44 Broncos 7

There are not many teams in the NFL that the Lions have outscored 89-17 in their last two games.

38-21 Broncos

Lions will win the toss, elect to recieve, march down the field yet end up having to settle for a field goal...then it will be all Denver after that

38-3 Denver

If the DL is going to get in gear this is the week to do it. Broncos OLINE is weak.

Austin gets taken to school by manning and officially is forgotten for any future coaching positions. 40-10 broncos.

If the D somehow figures out a way to not be destroyed by Manning, I will be shocked. You know Manning has been salivating at those open crossing routes. On the other side, with Lombardi in charge of game planning vs a stout D, Lions will be lucky to score 10. Rag on Hughes all ya want Tony, there has been zero evidence to suggest his prediction is actually far from a what a probability graph would show to be one of the higher probabilities for the game. An exposed D vs arguably a top 5 QB all-time, even in his waning years combined with a Lions OC who is arguably one of the worst in the NFL...

Just because people are anticipating a blowout Broncos win doesn't mean they would be disappointed if the Lions win. They are just prepared for a worst case scenario in order to keep their sanity while remaining fans of this maddening team. Everyone deals with that in their own way. You prefer to remain almost eternally optimistic, that is your way. Doesn't make Hughes less of a person to anticipate in a pessimistic way that a probability graph would actually show is grounded in more reality than any optimistic opinion for this game.

I'm sure Hughes isn't cheering for Denver and would much rather the Lions prove him wrong. That would be some pretty delicious crow to eat, maybe good enough to have multiple servings.

Lmfao.....ok!!!!

Reality. ...we just got blown out by the queens. Denver is a much better team than the queens. Hence my prediction.

Oh. ..and levy isn't back so everything isn't better yet.

Lmfao.....ok!!!!

Lets put it another way. How many people marked thus game as a probable loss before the season started? In YOUR predictions for the season, you did. So why are you so surprised that people are projecting this as a blowout loss now that the D has proven to be bottom 5 instead of top 5 while the O has the worst OC in the NFL even by your own words.

Really not understanding why you are calling people out on this game. If it was another bottom feeder that people were saying would be a blowout, then they would deserve being laughed at and derided. Fans being realistic is not deserving of criticism. Lions have shown nothing to be optimistic about going into thus game.

That said, Any Given Sunday still applies....but that is a small probability and not realistic enough to warrant optimism. Hope, sure. We are all hopeful the Lions can pull off the upset.

31-0 Lions, because it's the only way Michigan teams roll this weekend.
