My contempt for Ausmiss -- as a manager -- is substantial. I cannot think of another Tigers' manager in my lifetime that I hold in similar regard. That he received on-the-job training from the Tigers, made some elementary mistakes repeatedly and then bristed when challenged (in that smug manner, bc I really like John Tortorella's approach to the media) and then was actually hired by another MLB team -- baffling.
