Game 34 Tigers vs. Angels May 9, 2019

Are Gibson and Lance Parrish doing the play-by-play together for the Tigers?
No. The story was asked to Morris what had an impact when he was pitching. And he mentioned Lance grabbed the ball came out out to him and said "you suck."

Oh.

I am watching this debacle on the Los Angeles Angels network.

As Cabrera ever been pinch-hit for before?

In blow outs yes all the time

his bat is starting to become very unimpressive and it's getting harder and harder to enjoy the stat climb now given the lack of production 34 games in already. highs and lows...

low..

Angels 13, Tigers 0: If only it had been rained out.
Forget ?Angels in the Outfield,? they were aiming for the seats today.

That was ugly: Angels belt five homers, shut out sleepy Tigers.

Ryan Carpenter is, for the moment, the Tigers' No. 5 starter. His next turn in the rotation is due on Tuesday against the Houston Astros.
Although Carpenter was shaky at best in his 2019 debut on Thursday, the Tigers have few other options.
Gregory Soto will be summoned from Double-A to start one game of a doubleheader on Saturday in Minnesota, but he's probably not a long-term solution.
Jordan Zimmermann is at least a few more weeks away from returning from his elbow injury.
After Carpenter, the only other starter on the Tigers' 40-man roster is Toledo's Matt Hall.
If the Tigers opt to go off the roster, Beau Burrows, Kyle Funkhouser and Tyler Alexander could be among the next options, although all three have had ups and downs so far in 2019.
