Game 56 Tigers vs. Angels May 31, 2018

Nick has been really good this year. He will be a FA in 2020. I wonder if he's in the Tigers long-term plans?

Would have to think so...would think the Tigers plan on being competitive by then and that Zimmerman contract comes off then right?

Candy hit by pitch in hand and had to leave. VMart is the only healthy “position player” left available on bench. Pray for no more injuries

Just got in the game got to like the score so far. Darn about Carp. Well Green on so lets finish this and get the win.

Tigers rally goose makes an appearance....win 6-2 and series 3-1.

Kinda ironic vs Angels, who had a rally monkey in '02.

Tigers scored 5 of 17 on base.

Kinsler was a pest all series, while Upton was nearly an auto-out.

He K'd like 10 times in the series for us, that was nice of him, I remember when he was striking out at an alarming rate at one time here as well and that I had started calling him K'za Ton at one point.

Regardless of what this team?s record ends up, they are turning into one of my favorite Tiger squads. Just a scrappy bunch of guys

I agree. The difference is this team has no expectations at all. They are 2 games under .500 and most of us are excited about it. Last year at this point they were 29-29 and it felt like an utter failure because we knew the window was closing and the team was full of older players.
