Game 63 Milwaukee Brewers @ Detroit Tigers June 7th, 2024 3:40 p.m. MST

Boxscore. So much for wearing the new uniforms.

Tigers 0 - Brewers 10: This game was bad and it should feel bad.
I guess it’s not an accident that the Brewers are miles ahead in the NL Central.

Detroit Tigers' Reese Olson rocked again in 10-0 loss to Milwaukee Brewers.
Freep
Making his 12th start of the season, the right-hander gave up five runs on six hits in the second inning and four runs on six hits in the fourth inning. He has allowed 13 runs across his past two starts, sending his ERA from 1.92 to 3.43.
The Brewers tallied six hits against Olson's fastball, four hits off his changeup, one hit off his slider and one hit off his sinker. Olson finished with one walk and six strikeouts across four innings, throwing 89 pitches.

Brewers get 16 hits, rookie pitcher shuts out Tigers.
Mlive

2 lousy hits.
In back to back games . Yikes Mr Harris. Maybe fire one of your hitting coaches. Or maybe some of the scouts. I did hear on a radio show that the tigers still have some hold overs from Avila’s staff. I really hope that isn’t true.

Well the top 4 minor league clubs have winning records. Didn’t look any further.
Not sure if it means anything.

Toledo. 32-28
West Michigan 29-25
Erie 29-23
Lakeland 36-18.

Check out Lakelands crazy speed. 95 steals and 15 cs.

Their hitters wore out before McK got in there! I mean 16 hits how many more were in their bats. Besides got to eat sometime.

Tork went 3-5 with 2 HR yesterday. He's probably thinking, "I don't know why they sent me down for Malloy, anybody can rake in Toledo" :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

He's hitting .419 with a 1.083 OPS down there.

My hope is that he has more of a JD Martinez type arc with his career. JD spent 3 years bouncing back and forth from the minors to majors where he'd crush in the minors and then struggle with the big club. Then he started accepting changes and really started becoming a student of the game. I remember seeing him always charting pitches in the dugout while teammates were batting during his breakout season. Tork clearly has raw hitting talent. I think he's just missing the IQ of a big league hitter.

All that being said, man even more reason JD would've been a huge asset to this team this season.
